Our office is located on the second floor of the Groveland Public Library building, accessible via the main entrance. The building is fully wheelchair accessible with an elevator to the second floor. Free parking is available in the municipal lot directly behind the library on School Street, with additional street parking on Main Street (two-hour limit).

The Friends office follows the Groveland Public Library's holiday closure schedule. On days when the library is closed for holidays or inclement weather, the Friends office is also closed. Phone messages and emails received outside of office hours are returned within one business day.
Directions
From I-495: Take Exit 51 (Route 97 North / Groveland). Follow Route 97 North for approximately 2.5 miles. The library is on the left at 186 Main Street, at the intersection of Main Street and School Street. Look for the brick building with the American flag.
From Route 110: Turn onto Main Street (Route 113) in Groveland center. The library is approximately 0.3 miles east of the town common on the right side of Main Street.
Public Transit: MVRTA Bus Route 01 (Haverhill – Georgetown) stops at the Groveland Town Common, a two-minute walk from the library. Service runs Monday through Saturday.

Board Meeting Schedule
The Friends Board of Trustees meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the library's Community Room. Board meetings are open to Friends members who wish to observe. Members wishing to address the board should contact the Secretary at [email protected] at least five business days in advance to be placed on the meeting agenda. Meeting minutes are published on our website within two weeks of each meeting and are available for review at the library reference desk.
The Annual Meeting of the membership is held on the third Saturday of November each year. At this meeting, the board presents the annual financial report, program impact summary, and proposed budget for the coming year. Board elections for expiring terms are conducted at the Annual Meeting, with nominations accepted from the floor in addition to the slate proposed by the nominating committee.
